What should be included to form a balcony energy storage system?

You have installed balcony PV or want to install it, and most of the solar power generation is wasted, you can buy SolarFlow to store electricity for use at night to have a greater extent to reduce electricity bills

If I am a new, how do I have to configure my balcony power storage system.

Step1: you need to know the local regulations, what is the maximum power allowed to the household socket. Nowadays Most are 600W or 800W

Step2: recommendation is 1.1 -1.3 times of MPPT rating, 880W-1000W

Step3: Calculate your daily basic power consumption during the day

Step4: Calculate battery capacity,except for the basic consumption during the day, the rest will be stored in the battery, estimate the battery capacity based on your local lighting time and intensity.

For example:Your basic consumption is 200W,lighting time is 8 hours,MPPT can four power input (800W),the battery you need is 2000KWh (0.8KWh*5-0.2KWh*8).

Which solar panels can match SolarFlow?

The solar panels, working rate voltage range is 16-60V and the current is below 13A, can be used.

How do I allocate power generation to the home grid and battery AB1000?

You can set the output for the micro-inverter via the Zendure App, and the rest will be automatically stored in the battery AB1000.

When is the battery charged and when is energy taken from the battery?

When the PV input is greater than the output to micro-inverter, the battery AB1000 will be charged, and when the PV input is less than the output to micro-inverter, the battery will be discharged.

Is it possible to set the basic requirement or is the requirement somehow determined and then the power output regulated?

Set the output to the micro-inverter through Zendure App, the range is 100-1200W.

Is the inverter also supplied with voltage while the battery is being charged?

Yes, SolarFlow will first output to micro-inverter, then the rest will be stored in the battery.

What's the capacity of SolarFlow?

One AB1000 is 960Wh, SolarFlow Max extend up to 4 x AB1000, 3840Wh in total.

How do you know your electricity consumption during the day?

It is recommended that you as much as possible store in the battery during the day except for basic power consumption:

1.Calculated the device consumption you always run during the day or 24 hours a day,such as refrigerators, routers and standby devices.

2.Go to the meter box right before you go to bed, write down your current meter reading and the time. As soon as you get up, you write down the meter reading and the time. You can calculate your base load from consumption and elapsed time.

3.You can use a measuring socket that you plug between the socket and the power consumer. To calculate the base load, you could collect the wattage consumed from all the devices that are constantly running (including standby) and add up the values.

Are the units/batteries going to be cross-compatible with the SBV and batteries?

Currently AB1000 is not cross-compatible with SBV.

Can I use the AB1000 battery and the AB2000 battery at the same time?

Exactly! Zendure's AB1000 battery can stack perfectly with the AB2000 battery.
However, it's important to note that the stack can only contain up to four batteries in any combination.

What safety certifications does solarFlow have?

SolarFlow Working Logic

1.You need to set a power (range 100-1200W) to microinverter on Zendure App.

Note: It is recommended that the power you set for the microinverter is your basic power consumption.

2.SolarFlow will automatically determine the flow of energy according to the power given to the microinverter. When the PV input is greater than the output to micro-inverter, the battery AB1000 will be charged, and when the PV input is less than the output to micro-inverter, the battery will be discharged Powering the household consumption with PV together.

How many packages will the customer receive after purchasing SolarFlow?

The PV hub and battery unit will be shipped separately. If you buy the 1 kWh kit, you will receive 2 packages.

If you buy the 2 kWh kit, you will receive 3 packages.

If you buy the 3 kWh kit, you will receive 4 packages.

If you buy the 4 kWh kit, you will receive 5 packages.

How does the AB2000 battery work?

The AB2000 works in conjunction with the Hub1200, forming a 1960Wh SolarFlow system. And the Hub can automatically adjust the charging and discharging of the AB2000 based on the user settings in the App.

When solar output is more than your household demand, the Hub stores the surplus electricity in the AB2000.

When solar output is less than your household demand, the Hub makes the AB2000 to discharge, supplying power to your home along with the photovoltaic power.

When there is no solar input at night, the AB2000 supplies power to your home.

When the battery is full, solar input more than 20W, and actual output to the home ≥30W, the system will automatically change into bypass mode and AB2000 will then stop charging and discharging.

How many AB2000 battery(s) can a single PVHub connect?

Each PVHub can support up to four AB2000 batteries, expanding the maximum capacity to 7680Wh.

What's the batterie type of AB2000 and how is its cycle life?

The AB2000 uses automotive-grade lithium iron phosphate batteries. It has a cycle life of 6000 times and can remain 70% capacity after that.

What is the working temperature of AB2000?

Charging temperature: -20℃ to 55℃.

Discharging temperature: -20℃ to 60℃.

Can I use the AB1000 battery and the AB2000 battery at the same time?

Exactly! Zendure's AB1000 battery can stack perfectly with the AB2000 battery.
However, it's important to note that the stack can only contain up to four batteries in any combination.

How do you calibrate the SOC when using multiple AB2000s together?

Firstly, cancel all SOC limits and use up the remaining capacity of each battery;

Secondly, charge all AB2000s to 100%;

Finally, use up all the power of AB2000s again, then recharge AB2000 and reset the SOC limits.

What is the temperature of AB2000 itself at which it can resume charging in a low temperature environment?

In order to prevent the product from repeatedly activating the self-heating function, on the first heating of the same day the battery temperature will be heated up to 8 degrees before switch to the normal mode, so the battery recovery charging temperature of AB2000 is 0 to 8℃.

For each SuperBase V, you can link up to 4 Satellite Batteries. A system can include up to two SuperBase V's working in tandem, with a maximum of 8 Satellite Batteries total.

How do I connect the Satellite Batteries to each other? And how do I connect them to SuperBase V?

Satellite Batteries can directly stack on each other without cable. To connect a Satellite battery to SuperBase V, the included battery cable is the only connection required.

Why are the expansion batteries called "Satellites"?

Our Satellite batteries are an excellent companion to SuperBase V to increase your system's capacity, but they also have their own independent DC input and output capabilities that allow them to function as standalone units as well. Similarly, while the Moon is Earth's companion as a natural satellite, it can shine independently and has its own charm.

Does the system have voice control features?

Yes, the system can respond to commands given through a paired Amazon Alexa or Google Home device.

Can SuperBase V be charged with solar panels from a different brand?

Yes, SuperBase V can be charged by third-party solar panels with voltage ranging from 12V to 150V; Zendure's 400W Solar Panel and 320W Rigid Solar Panel have been thoroughly tested with SuperBase V and remain our recommendation.

What's the plug type for the Mobile EV Charger?

14-50 plug for Type 1 (J1772) connector with 5-15 plug and 6-20 plug adaptor cables; CEE 32 plug for Type 2 (Mennekes) with EU plug, UK plug and AU plug adatpor cables.

What can the EV T1 Adapter be used for?

Using the EV T1 Adapter, you can charge SuperBase V via a Type 1 EV charger. It's also a convenient way for European Standard vehicles to charge from devices that have an American Standard charging connector.

Is the Satellite Plug just a smart plug?

Like traditional smart plugs, the Satellite Plug can be used to remotely turn devices on or off. Together with the Home Panel system, our Satellite Plugs achieve their true potential, providing insight and tools to manage your home's power.

Can photovoltaic panels be connected when PVHub Mini is connected?

Yes. The XT-90 interface of SBV is 12-60VDC, 25A, 15,00W Max; the XT-90 interface of satellite battery pack is 12-60VDC, 10A, 600W Max.

After connecting the PVHub Mini, will the SBV/satellite battery pack output power to the PVHub Mini after it is turned on?

To power on the SBV/satellite battery pack, you need to connect to the App, and set up on the App to turn on the parallel port output to supply power to the PVHub Mini.
